CLC2007 :: Conservatives and the New Media
The 2007 Conservative Leadership Conference (CLC) will be the first national conference in the western United States to fully utilize the power of blogging and the Internet to promote a conservative, limited-government agenda. This will be a world-class event!
The theme for CLC 2007 is “Conservatives and the New Media.” At this conference, attendees will meet and listen to some of the most influential people in the rapidly growing world of blogging and Internet publications. Bloggers will have wireless connectivity right on the conference floor, allowing them to blog “live” right from their seats.
The conference will take place in Reno, Nevada, at John Asquaga’s Nugget on October 11-13, 2007. Conservatives from around the country are expected to attend this extraordinary leadership conference which is planned to include…
* A welcoming cocktail reception
* One full day of training workshops for bloggers and grassroots activists
* Speeches by leading presidential candidates and other conservative leaders
* Panel discussions and debates on the “hottest” issues and topice
* An awards banquet
* Talk-radio and TV coverage
* Book-signings with conservative authors
* Exhibit hall for blogging vendors and grassroots organizations
All wrapped up with a presidential preference “straw poll.”
In addition, CLC 2007 will offer special discounts for college students to encourage the largest possible attendance by the next generation of limited-government conservatives.
CLC 2007’s host hotel - John Ascuaga's Nugget Casino Resort - has perfected the art of guest service. The 1,600-room hotel with two 29-story towers features sweeping views of Reno, Sparks, and the Sierra Nevada mountains and is located only minutes from Downtown Reno, the Reno-Tahoe International Airport, the Sparks Marina, Wild Island Water Park, and World-class Golf and Ski resorts.
